Meet The Team

Joe Egan is senior partner of the firm. Originally an all rounder he became a criminal specialist becoming the first solicitor in Bolton to achieve the right to deal with cases in the Crown Court. He now spends much of his time managing the firm although he still deals with some Court work as a Advocate particularly in matrimonial asset work.

Stephen has been with the firm for many years and was made a partner in 2000, he is Head of the Criminal Department and has appeared in the Crown Court as a Solicitor Advocate. He now specialises in Magistrates Court work for both legal aid and private clients and is a well established Duty Solicitor.

Karen started (many, many years ago) as an office junior. She was not in that position for long as her abilities became apparent. She progressed through the ranks qualifying first as a legal executive and then as a solicitor. She is now a partner in the Criminal Department and specialises in dealing with the more serious prosecutions in the Crown Court.

Suzanne Crook was born and raised in Bolton. She attended Thornleigh and the University of Leeds.  She joined the firm in the summer of 2001 and qualified as a Solicitor in 2003.  She is a Partner of the firm and a Solicitor in the family department. She specialises in all aspects of children work and in 2011 became an accredited member of the Children Panel.

Fleur worked her way up through the firm via the legal executive route then went on to qualify as a Solicitor. Unable to give up the excitement of the Magistrates Court she still combines Crime with her main fee earning as a partner in the Accident Department. Her excellent work in dealing with accident claims was recognised this year when she was made a Partner in the firm.

Isabel has spent most of her career doing family work and in particular childcare. Since she joined the firm in 2000 the Family Department has grown to be one of our largest departments. She has an extensive practice representing parents whose children are in danger of being taken into care. Isabel has been a member of the Child Care Panel for several years and this year she became a Partner in the firm.

Tazim joined the firm in 2008 and qualified as a solicitor in March 2010. She is now a member of our Family Department and deals with all areas of matrimonal work for both legal aid and private clients. She was Bolton Law Society trainee of the year during her training contract and now heads Bolton Junior Lawyers Division.
