Who is Joe Egan ?

Joe Egan was born and raised in Bolton he attended Thornleigh College and the University of Kent. After University he spent a number of years travelling and working abroad before returning to this country and entering the Law.

He was admitted as a Solicitor in 1982 and worked for a number of firms in Bolton and Manchester before setting up his own firm on December 4th 1986. Operating initially from rooms above the Yorkshire Bank in Wood Street, Bolton, expansion led to the opening of the Mawdsley St office in 1994. Further Growth resulted inthe opening of our office at 18 Wood St to which th Accident & Conveyancing departments moved in 2001.

In June 1995, Joe Egan became the first Solicitor in Bolton to be awarded the right to conduct all proceedings in the Crown Court (a right previously reserved to Barristers). He has since successfully defended a number of people before juries in both Bolton and Manchester Crown Courts and appeared on behalf of clients before the Court of Appeal in London

In March 1997 his experience in conducting cases on behalf of people injured in accidents was recognised when he was appointed to the Law Society's Personal Injury Panel. In 2000 he was awarded the Postgraduate Diploma in Personal Injury by Manchester Metropolitan University.
